With its double 6V6 power amp tubes and 1x12" combo configuration, the Koch Ventura unapologetically takes after American guitar amps from the '50s and '60s. It offers 20 Watts of power and two channels for a wide range of possible sounds, with the clean channel providing a bright sound packed with thumbing bass and a spanky mid-range. The distortion channel is the place to be for saturated blues licks or a medium gain rock sound. To complete its look, the Ventura has been finished with beautiful red and cream-coloured tolex.

The Koch Ventura Combo: Modern Convenience

Next to an intuitive lay-out for the tone controls, there are a number of additions to help you shape up your preferred sound. There's the reverb tank to give your sound an extra dimension, and a serial buffered FX loop to accommodate your favourite effect pedal without losing out on signal quality, while the Dummy Load with speaker simulation is great for PA or studio applications. All in all, the Koch Ventura is a solid guitar amp with a vintage sound aimed at modern musicians, which even comes complete with a footswitch.
